Brick By Boring Brick
Yeah. I just titled this blog after the song by Paramore.
Anyways... That is actually what I wanted to blog about. I have that song on repeat and it got me to realize that I have not been down on earth lately. The song talks about how you need to come back to reality and stop dreaming up schemes and "fairy tales". I've been spending my time thinking of what could be and not actually doing anything. It's sad that I had to listen to a song by Paramore to figure that out.
"Keep your feet on the ground while your head's in the clouds. Go get your shovel, and we'll dig a deep hole to bury the castle."

P.S. Sorry for lack of updates. I'll try to change that. And I'm also sorry that this one is short. I was just having a random thought.
P.P.S. If you haven't, do check out that song to make this blog make a little more sense.

I Think I See It Now
So these past few days I have spent them on crutches because I messed up my knee. But it has given me time to think. For those of you who don't know, I just came back to my religion this summer after 8 years. This past week I have really seen God's work. I have never really took the time to notice but now that I have, I am truly amazed. This past weekend, I was sitting in the hospital, waiting to hear news of me having to get surgery. The doctor, instead, came in and told me I was lucky. From that moment to now, I have slowly learned how to walk again. The doctors said I shouldn't be walking on my own for another 2 weeks and it is only 5 days later. I have seen his work through the people who have helped me in the smallest ways. Whether it be opening the door or grabbing a book. I have never looked to see how good I really have it until now. I was put on those crutches at a time where I really need to open my eyes and I thank God everyday for giving me that opportunity to see.
